The Lovers tarot card for my 2D Design concentratiooon~ : D

From this I have learned that lighting and colors can go too many ways and they're all too fun to do D: D: and FLOWERS ARE NOT PLEASANT. I AM SO NOT DRAWING ANOTHER FLOWER FOR ANOTHER FEW MONTHS mmkay. good. >>;

but yes shoujo ai whut ?! and rofl no the bottom one is not Namine though yeah it kind of looks like her doesn't it >>;; shh

and man I couldn't figure out the blonde's face too well ;___; I tried it like 9315835 times before I just went with this, so if anyone has advice on what's wrong with it (since something looks off to me) it'd be appreciated~ or advice on any of it xD;! I'm trying to make my concentration not as BS-y as last years~

Oh my god...Angie, all my spaztastical jesting aside, you've come so far as an artist in the short time i've been stalking you. ;w; Your imagination, skill, and comprehension of all the elements of design have developed tremendously, and I can only watch in bedazzlement from the sidelines as you tap further into your tremendous talent!

Everything about this piece is very appealing, from the emotion to the "clean" color scheme, to the perfect balance between whites and blues. Both girls are beautiful, each curve a wonderful and accurate tribute to the female body. The expression on the blonde's face conveys so much possible emotion - like she's letting go of something, bringing that sad look to her eye.... But there is also that longing, equanimity, naivete, and sweetness, emphasized by the shimmering background. A very lovely, feminine image. :] And the flowers look absolutely stunning!

In regards to anything you think is wrong with the blond girl's face - it didn't strike me immediately as to what you were talking about, so I don't think it's anything that really needs to be fixed. However, looking more closely...I think her mouth is just a millimeter too far forward, on her face? It's barely noticeable, but sometimes little shifts will make the whole thing look different. Like I said, though - it doesn't look bad, it's not throwing off the entire image, and even up close it looks fine. I think that's just your inner-critic searching for something to fix up, but it's really all right. xD

The only other concrit I could think to offer would be on the two lilies - the ones with the yellow middles - stage lower left. xDD Ah. I LOVE the way you paint flowers, but those two look like they could...perhaps...be a little more blossoming...? I don't know, I'm stupid! It's just a small thought that occurred to me while taking in the picture's details.

My favorite part [aside from that adorable kiss!] is definitely the shifting colors of the brunette's wings. I love that they're gold at the top, but gradient beautifully to that rose color. Beautiful.
