Yes. This is Vanyel and Tylendel from the Last Herald Mage trilogy by Mercedes Lackey. XD D'omg I'm like 3/4 through the first book and I love it. *_____* YAY for shounen ai/impliedyaoi/prettyfantasy books. XD And they're just so cute and omfg I already know a good part of what happens in the end cuz I'm a retard and read ahead and wAAHH ;___; And btw, "ashke" means "beloved" in Tayledras, which is a language in this book~ and aww he always calls him Vanyel-aske~ ...But yeah. I had to draw this scene. Because it was so omfg. I loved it. Stupid author had to leave out that whole rest of the night they first had together adngioaenvczkeajfspe. And I'm searching everywhere for fanart of this series. ;O; only found a little. Stupid DA won't let me search so I have no idea where to start looking on this site, but d'oh well. And yeah. Done in opencanvas. XD and a little color tweaking in Photoshop. IM STILL INNOCENT I SWEAR *flees off* Edit: auehauheua I added stuff. Cuz I can. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. I haven't read too much of mercedes lackey...but read 'the owl knight' trilogy, "mage winds' trilogy, and 'the Mage storms' trilogy...they're all so wonderful(and they all are in the same world/setting/etc). hehe. *ish a minifanatic* lol
